The Tournament Series
The premier chance for young students to expose themselves to competitive debating against their peers and other debaters.

Students learn from experienced debating coaches and instructors and get to put themselves to the test through the Tournament Series, and get feedback along the way from our experienced adjudication staff.
What is it?
The primary focus of the Academy has always been education, which is achieved first and foremost through our Lecture Series. However, we think a critical part of understanding and developing a nebulous and theoretical skill like debating is being able to apply the material that we teach to real debates.

The Academy is always excited about competition, because is the perfect chance for students to exhibit and grow their skill and compete as they would in higher grades of debating competition offered in Australia and throughout the world.
How do we grow excellence?
The Tournament Series is the Academy's opportunity for students to debate one another in a controlled environment. Adjudicators have received specific training to cater their adjudication to developing students, focusing their oral comments heavily on the constructive comments which consolidate and mature our budding debaters.

The Tournament Series consists of five regional-level rounds which culminate in a State and National level series where there is sufficient participation.
